One of our SEGA Channel adapters! And that was the SciAtl logo in the early 90's. Notice how the t's in Atlanta line up with the i's in Scientific?
gamehistory.org/segachannel/

Back in early 90s at SEGA of Japan, we did not have a chance to see SEGA CHANNEL in operation so this article and the video is absolutely fascinating...!

I worked at Scientific-Atlanta from 1994 until they were divested by Cisco in 2015. Around the launch of the SEGA Channel, they handed out these glow-in-the-dark Frisbees to us. They were probably part of a marketing effort encouraging our customers to launch the channel with our equipment.

I probably have the original version in my Github stars lol

Not strictly related, just a cool footprint for debugging connectors: if anyone is looking for a "serious" version of this, there's SOICbite! I'll likely add it to my Vaio P project when I get to work again on it

Less the show and more being under aged and sneaking glass bottles into the theater in our shorts then listening to the empties roll down the slanted floor to the front of the theater.
Raising the always fun question: What are your most memorable theater-going experiences?

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.
It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

Figured out how to get my employer to match both of these donations!
I just made small donations to Wikimedia and the Python Software Foundation. I encourage you to find worthy organizations you support and, if able, make an end-of-the-year donation too.

FiveTen size 11 vs 45nrth Wolfgar size 45. They fit but damn they're huge! Probably good for deep powder riding but probably too bulky for big climbs or more than 10-15 miles. They have spots for SPD cleats but I usually ride flats in snow and ice.

You'd have to be an idiot not to know what part of your body was imaged with an MRI because whenever I've gotten an MRI, they've always stuck a giant ass RF coil around the body part being imaged.

Lots of dev boards from Seeed and @adafruit.com among others have swd / test pads on the bottom of the board. Anyone know of a specific brand & model of pogo pins that can reach these pads when the dev board is mounted on another board with normal ~10.5 mm board-to-board headers and sockets?
