My eldest caught a fish this summer and now has the bug. So for her birthday my mom brought to Spain everything she needs for bass fishing.

I had a dream @pattonoswalt.bsky.social was a dad at my kids’ school and I was talking to him about school things. Then he took my hand and we went skipping outside.

Jack Handey called Patton, who informed Jack that Patton and I were “taking giggles by the sea.”

A new inside joke for me and me.

One of the cruel ironies of Trump’s attacks on Jack Smith, is that serious, smart people like Jack Smith are exactly the type of people, and the temperament, we need it office.

I’m at the Reina Sofía for some work thing and realized too late that I ripped off my upper shoe buckle in the accident I had last week.

Was too tired to notice it this morning when dressing to take the kids to school. 🤣

Actually looks to be a Blanca de Rombo (15th C) from Enrique IV. There aren’t that many other possibilities given the beading and the square (rombo). And that looks like the lion paw to me.

I’m not an expert but I’m thinking early 17th, late 16th Century given some of its traits, like the beading.

The edges also almost look clipped.
