I don’t understand why Democrats aren’t upping the pressure on Republicans to reopen government. You / we should be insisting that EVERY cut Trump made during shutdown be restored before you will agree to proceed. Let THEM understand that the more damage they do, the harder it will be to govern

This is exactly why Democrats are fighting to permanently extend the affordable care act tax credits. It's urgent that Speaker Johnson call the House back into session before these new prices go into effect on November 1.
