I swear, Connecticut is too rich of a state to have food this bland. For what these restaurants charge, you’d think they could at least afford some salt and pepper—maybe even a spice rack if they’re feeling wild. The great people of Connecticut deserve better flavor for these prices.

the thing about this is that a) small states do not have any interests that are inherent to their size (no less than james madison understood this) b) the senate is organized along party lines which makes the small/big distinction almost irrelevant and c) the filibuster has never been used this way

So Rs right now are assaulting our health care system, raising prices on everything, exploding the deficit, throwing people in gulags, cutting off food assistance to 42m despite a court order and now threatening not to pay federal workers money they are clearly owed. Villains they are.
