When I was in 5th grade my class had a tour scheduled of Ken Calvert’s office (our rep) for months. We waited outside of his office for an hour before someone from his staff told us he wouldn’t show and there wouldn’t be a tour.

A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down.

All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown.

So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

Mike Shildt was literally told that Craig Counsell is going to exploit the obvious righty/lefty lanes he's created in his lineup, and his response was to re-offer the same lanes today.

Mike Shildt should be fired for that line in the press conference alone. There is absolutely no reason a manager should be throwing their player under the bus for a bunt decision when that has been a clear focal point of the team’s strategy all season. You have to own that!
