Trying something new today: tofu “egg salad.”
Sounds gross, but so did kale chips and now here we are. Wish me luck.

Important news: the Weston Library in Oxford (part of the Bodleian) has added a small baby play space.

And they've called it the Toddleian.

Today’s big achievement: almost matching every sock in the laundry. Small wins count. If I can conquer sock mountain, what else is possible?
Not getting older is more of a problem than getting older.
The action of rape, the status of having been raped (or being a past raper), or both?
How did you manage to get moon spots on its butt only?!?!?!?
I work in the Gift Card industry, so when I read “GC design”, my mind went to “Gift Card design”.
Shouldn’t that be “the more stupider you are?”
Ok, so I read @scalzi.com new book “When the Moon Hits Your Eye” and decided to write a review:

This book was so good, it made me want to read more. Not necessarily more Scalzi (though that is on the list), not necessarily more Sci-fi or Fantasy (thought again this will be included), just MORE.
Also, if you like “what if” by @xkcd.com then go purchase “when the moon hits your eye” by @scalzi.com.

Conversely, if you like “when the moon hits your eye”, you should probably go buy “what if”
OMFG. I opened a bag. In that bag was a box. In that box were 4 more boxes. In each of those smaller boxes was 10 sealed bags. In each of those sealed bags was a morsel of food. 5 boxes and 41 bags for about a pound of food. There’s no way this is sustainable.
@scalzi.com - thank you for a wonderful evening on Tuesday at the Main Library in Louisville, KY. I will definitely be buying more of your books.
I think we’ve all had to do it at one point or another. Sometimes it’s impossible to recreate the issue in a dev/test environment without more detail from the prod environment.
Looking forward to seeing you Tuesday in Louisville.
Is that your Tom, or just local wildlife dropping in to say hi? I had a wild Tom greet me with a great big gobble the other morning as I stepped out the door to feed the goats.
So, you’re free to ignore errors. And for some subsets of code and in some instances, that might be OK. OTOH, go makes it very easy to spot unhandled errors in someone else’s code during code review and give them an opportunity to defend that decision.
I’d pay for that. Especially if you used multiple voice actors.
