I know Japanese closed captioning is often summarized for brevity, but what happened here with the captions for Raymond Johnson's character? They removed the English and the references to "Pokemon Ierukana?"

It's funny how many people think the "emo" in "emoji" means "emotion" because they're similar in function to "emoticons" and "emotes".
But it's actually
"e"+"moji"
(絵/picture) + (文字/text)
and it's not pronounced like "emote", but more like "M-O-G" because they mog emoticons.

Love that the answer to "how many fingers do you have" can change between like 4, 5, 8, 10, or 20 depending on what language you're speaking and how pedantic you are.
I do not know of any languages where 16/18 is a valid answer (toes count as fingers but not thumbs/big toes)

I hate when people type "apart of" because I can never tell if they meant "apart from" or "a part of", which are opposites.

I like that in Japan, Squidward is called Ikard (Ika/Squid + Edward) because it also includes "ikaru" which means "to get mad".
But then Patrick Star is still just Patrick Star.
