I just called Chuck Schumer’s office and, for the first time EVER, a person answered, who then politely entered my complaints into their call log.

This tells me two things:

1) They’re not getting enough calls over there, and 2) If you want to yell at Schumer, today’s the day.

Just called Schumer's Washington office and got a response. If you're in New York then call his office today. In fact call your Rep no matter where you live. Tell them to stand with the trans community on this one, tell them that you won't vote for reps who will abandon citizens when they're in need

in the spirit of Mario Kart, it felt like whether I got a track I wanted to race on or got stuck on the highway was equally up to randomness and fate, and as a gambler at heart, those are the thrills I live for.

Again, though: this is only my first impressions. Further testing is required.

Obviously, I still think the optimal solution would be to have 3 separate lobbies--3-Lap only, Intermissions only, and mixed--but that's why I prefaced it by saying it's a good ratio if they're still this stuckup that they HAVE to do it this way. I got about a 50/50 ratio of 3-Laps to Highways! Which kind showed up in rotation felt more balanced, and when it came to choosing, it felt like a lot of the weight of the choice was finally put back into the actual voting, rather than the game giving us the illusion of choice.

Don't wanna give a verdict just yet bc I've only just done a 30min session of "testing," but if Nintendo HAS to have the MKW Worldwide Lobbies be mixed 3-Lap/Intermission tracks, I think the ratio on this new update is already a HUGE improvement.
