A good reminder of where I stand on this: I DGAF how technically good you are at traditional painting. If you use genai in ANY part of your process, you have abandoned the soul of art, abandoned the artist community and forfeit any reason I should give you an ounce of respect.

A lot of folks who have never tried to create something and present it to the public have fallen into the trap of being real cavalier about the way they talk about other people’s art, because of how endemic click/rage bait is.
