After more than a year of threats from us, the Charity Commission has finally agreed to open a formal investigation into the Institute for Economic Affairs, the so-called charity responsible for Liz Truss' calamitous mini budget. goodlaw.social/00rn

Are the Tufton Street crew responsible for Truss’s disastrous micro-budget acting for the public benefit? We think not.

Last year my wife had breast cancer and a double mastectomy.

This morning, for the first time ever, she was challenged in the changing rooms at the swimming pool. Her breasts were not what make her a woman - but, breasts or not, she is entitled to dignity and protection from vigilantes.

BBC News website is still running this disgraceful front page headline. Presenters should not be expected to "keep quiet" on basic human rights abuses. And his past record of speaking out shouldn't be conflated with his error re the rat reposting (I didn't know that was an antisemitic slur either).

This isn't a Brexit reset. It's a face lift. Some of the most visible symptoms get a bit of correction: holiday queues & touring musicians. But the fundamental problems surrounding trade, investment, agriculture, fishing and freedom of movement still remain. It's lipstick on a pig. A wasted chance.

Appeasement of the rich facilitates corruption, illicit financial flows.

Compare this to how govts treat the poor. Soon their bank accounts will be snooped on.

A cowardlt piece from #BBC. Gary Lineker spoke out about fascism, putting morality before career, and paid the price. Ok, he made a mistake with his choice of symbol, but fascism is fascism whoever perpetrates it. He did right.
