On Holocaust Memorial Day, I posted this, and only this quote, without attribution, in my very red town's community Facebook page and the local Republicans had an absolute fit.

Literally, without any prompting they went ham defending ICE and deportations. Interesting how well they actually see it.

I don't think it was a false flag. Kirk was beloved in the Trump level of conservatism. Dude was probably going to run for president someday. This was a person upset at something he said. It just comes down to what the subject was that makes the difference.

I've been saying all day that it seems way more likely to me that it's a radicalized ex-military type who is upset over Kirk abandoning the Epstein case.

I don't think it was a hired hit, but the whole attack seems way too polished to be some random angry gunman.
