Today was a good day. Cozy morning, went for groceries, installed the remaining catwalk pieces and made myself a bowl of ramen. Oh and I made banana muffins! Productive but relaxing day :3

Cas and I went hiking for our 16-year anniversary <3 we hiked over to czechia, stayed at a hotel for one night and hiked back to the car the next day :3 it was so much fun!

Recently I made some carrot soup with carrots from our garden. The greens I used for pesto today, together with some walnurs from our tree. I have like 3kg of various berries frozen and neighbours gave me pears and grapes I will turn into jam tomorrow. I feel so homestead-y, yeah

Some bucket list plants are kiwis or kiwi berries, an apple tree, maybe a peach tree and several perennial flowers like echinaceas and phlox and cushion thyme! I want to get some boulders/stones to decorate the flower bed too :3

Next thing to do is take apart our old raised beds and build a new one. Instead of many small ones I want to build a big one so we can also install a drip irrigation system :3 also I wanna build another raised bed solely for my chilis.

Curse pinterest and it‘s awesome gardening ideas. Planted our strawberry runners in some rain gutters which will be hung up on a south facing wall :3 I will also try to put garlic inbetween some of the strawbs, we‘ll see if that will work :3

Not sure yet! We had a REALLY big bush of rosemary in the garden that we pruned today and I took the fresh tips and twigs to dry them. We'll see how much it'll be in the end! I usually just go get the fresh ones but I didn't want to just throw away the cut off branches, so I'm drying them :3
