We got a Costco membership for the first time in our lives today. They asked why & I said because treat your workers well, you value diversity, & you didn’t cave in to authoritarian demands. He said: “We’ve been getting lots of folks saying that, thanks for joining.”

Thanks for this post; I just joined yesterday out of appreciation for their public defense of their ethics, despite no real need for wholesale anything, and was wondering if a potential switch from Walgreens would be worth it. Will give the pharmacy a try next month.

I’ve been spending half an hour each night sprinting on the treadmill blasting old Propagandhi records and just… feeling it. I laugh at myself after while I’m putting out my j. Crew for the office.
