Awww, look at that face.

Mabel's pretty cute too.
Mabel insisted on sitting with me when I got my haircut which hasn't happened since my grandma did the same thing when I was in kindergarten.

Censored for telling a demonstrable truth.
I wish I didn’t have to share this. But the BBC has decided to censor my first Reith Lecture.

They deleted the line in which I describe Donald Trump as “the most openly corrupt president in American history.” /1

It's too early to call this @chuckwendig.bsky.social's masterpiece, because he's got a lot of books yet to write (I hope), but oh boy is it magnificent.
I do not know why my "sleepwalkers mysteriously walk across a violent, divided America during an unfolding pandemic being investigated by a rogue government-built AI" novel WANDERERS is a buck-ninety-nine for your electromagnetic book reader of choice, but it is, so go enjoy an on-sale apocalypse?

NEW: Epstein survivors release the most powerful PSA I have ever seen.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Sounds like a @crobertcargill.bsky.social novel....
One day, social media will consist entirely of bots spamming other bots with AI-generated content; automated supply chains will rumble on, turning raw materials into products and shipping them around the world; and autonomous drones will fight across endless battles. But all the humans will be gone.

bluesky’s current demonstrated willingness to suspend entire accounts on a hair trigger basis is alarming.

Dearest @bsky.app,

Oswalt was clearly joking. Kelly was clearly serious. You've taken the side of a defender of pedophiles.
patton oswalt has been suspended from bluesky for saying that megyn kelly should be fed to a woodchipper for justifying the sexual abuse of minors

@bsky.app, we don't need a mother, a babysitter, or a censor. Thanks.

This Vance guy sounds like an idiot.
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

Remember a decade or so ago, when we learned about "grab 'em by the p---y," and everybody said, well, there's no coming back from that?

It's interesting that Horowitz is referring to the most absolutely ridiculous retconning of a character death (in the TV series Dallas) to make his point. This isn't actually a problem, if the Bond writers are remotely talented.
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Bluesky suspended Sarah Kendzior today for no reason whatsoever. She just shared excerpts of her articles, which were as always incisive and not offensive at all. Hey @pfrazee.com this is super not OK. I know her- we've interacted a fair bit via chats and her work is essential.

I'd listen to that Booklist guy.
Kyle Winkler's ENTER THE PEERLESS is "something horror fans haven't quite seen before," according to Booklist. It's eligible for various awards in the Best Novel category. If you haven't read it, you should. Get in touch.

Cross seems like a pretty good show. Can't be sure, though, because it's so dimly lit, so muted, I can't hardly see what's going on.
