Here's a question for #BookSky:

What are some iconic or classic works of literature that you read just for the sake of doing so?

Here are some of my examples:

1. Don Quixote
2. The Hunchback of Notre Dame
3. The Canterbury Tales
4. Treasure Island
5. 1001 Arabian Nights
6. Les Miserables
Here is an interesting questions:

Given the small sizes of BOTH Luxembourg AND Andorra (and their histories with their larger and more powerful neighbors), how likely is it that there are more people of Luxembourgish and Andorran descent in the U.S. than they are people in either country? 🇱🇺🇦🇩🇺🇸🇫🇷🇩🇪🇪🇸🇧🇪🇳🇱

US States With A Smaller Population Than Los Angeles County

Although the county went 64.8% for Harris vs 32.2% for Trump; Trump still got more votes in the county than in Alaska, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota combined.

Had fun filming a short video about the fabulous Parker.stanford.edu with @blalbritton.bsky.social today. We have a super NEH project (Global Currents) on the automated retrieval of features of manuscript layout using Parker data.
In case you wanted to learn something interesting, here is a YouTube channel #TheItalianReach explaining why Italian immigration to the United States largely came from villages from Southern Italy and not big cities such as Rome or Milan:

Here is something to consider regarding #SpiderMan's #RoguesGallery:

Second only to Batman's, it is one of the most iconic rogues galleries in American comics.

Most superheroes would be likely if their arch-enemy would be recognizable to the general public.
Promo poster extravaganza!
My own local comic shop A Pennyworths in Matthews NC had a small stack sitting out today, and I snagged about half. Eight total.

First up, this GORGEOUS Pepe Larraz drawn Spider-Man along with his rogues gallery!
