The Beginner Basics program, hosted by the 4-H Sew Unique club, was very popular this week. As new sewers learned the basics, other club members worked on their first project of the 2026 PY.

With the help of Hanna, our Community Arts Program Assistant, and many amazing volunteers, our tables are getting a face lift! Well, at least a few of the tables at our Nature Center will be sporting a beautiful nature-themed painting.
Our Master Naturalist volunteers had a great time at the School Days for Salt Fest. They shared information about our environment, upcoming events for youth, and led a fun fishing activity.

In this hands-on experience, participants collected Japanese Indigo leaves from the #dye garden and created a beautifully dyed silk bandana. With two different varieties of indigo present this year we had quite the range of natural hues!
