Hey #comicartist and #comic folks...y'all ever consider the way two pages play against each other in a spread when laying out panels? I'm a big fan of "balancing" or "mirroring" layouts across two pages.

For example, here is a spread from #shredordead my @topshelfcomix.bsky.social book.

We don't.

But really, it comes down to balance and schedule/discipline for me.

Every day a block of 2 hours is scheduled within which comics work can be done. All the comics stuff has to fit into that block and everything else stays outside it.

No pets for you, Kleo (a cat) it's comics time.
