Important Update: Humpy showed up to the Kraken game last night when it was tied 1-1. It went to OT and the Kraken won on a goal with with 3.8 seconds left in OT. The legend grows.

Post-match or game, very typical for kids/autograph seekers to rush to the fencing closet to the court/field. Very common for strangers to be mixed between siblings angling for the best spot.

Dad here. Speaking for all Dads. If an athlete tried to hand my kid something, there is a negative one thousand percent chance I would snatch it away and rob my kid of that moment of interaction with a hero. Deranged stuff, honestly.

I think the confusion is that the text highlights pedestrian improvements 'and more' and the 'and more' is in the last two pictures, which is just a repaving of a poorly paved street, as highlighted in the alt text. The first two pictures show widened sidewalks, etc.

And the #1 factor that should drive every decision is 'will this keep Giannis?' You go from there.

He cites the Hayes report that Giannis is upset to see Dame go like Giannis hasn't indirectly put out statements every time before (see Jrue, Kidd, Bledsoe, et al). Talks about no point guard when Giannis clearly wants to play point guard. Ignores so much context around what Giannis clearly wants.

Judging by past articles, it seems like the only good move you think they can make is 'trade a once-in-a-generation superstar and start a lengthy rebuild process even if the superstar doesn't ask out, but also I can't understand why he isn't asking out' and then getting mad when fans are like 'nah.'

Goal is to keep Giannis, and no way a pick at 47 helps make the case for him to stay. But a long term prospect is good for the Bucks, and an open roster spot for a vet is good for Giannis.

Also they are super roster constrained because of the cap/apron penalties, so this is one of their only chances for some roster flexibility.

I kinda like it! It gives us a long term prospect, something Giannis would oppose, but also an open roster spot (hopefully for a playable vet) something Giannis might like (depending on who they can sign).
