79 points today in Boston is the fewest the #Bucks have scored in a game since 1/14/18 when they scored 79 against Miami

79 points. How much longer is this gonna go on for the Bucks without a serious change?

Bucks have been totally lifeless since the second quarter. Their offensive and defensive schemes are illogical. Nobody at ESPN or The Ringer will mention Doc Rivers in the 500th dissertation on why Giannis should be traded for some picks and a bag of chips immediately this week.

Can’t imagine there are many shooters as good as AJ Green that get basically no drawn up shots on a regular basis. Shoots a truly elite percentage on high volume and definitely gets fewer than one designed pin down per quarter. He’s a square peg in a round hole.

Couple things that stood out from @tiwindisch.gspn.info and @rohankatti.gspn.info latest;

* a team trading one pick far in the future for 2-3 of OKCs near term picks is an interesting way to increase picks in a GA deal
* guys like giannis don’t come available ever, someone is gonna step up

After a strong start the Bucks have really fired up the tank engines over the last 18 minutes. Onward and downward we go.

The Bucks rebounding is disgraceful. Some of the long ones on threes are random but how can a team starting Portis and Turner not contain Queta at ALL?
February 1, 2026 at 9:23 PM
Let’s go Bucks! When Rollins is dialed in and Kuzma is hitting threes this unit can play. Celtics will hit jumpers eventually but forcing them into pull-ups is a good goal.

The Pioneer Classic is an awesome idea and it’s too bad the Bucks are playing in it with this version of their team. Still excited for this though. Hope the guys left standing for Milwaukee put on a show.
This is the patch each team will have on their jersey.

Portland is smart about targeting value deals. Vit makes non guaranteed $2.7M next season and team option $3M the next one.

He isn’t Avdija level of course but his deal is an absolute steal based on his production.

Looks like Porter will be back soon(er). Hoping to get a firmer update today.

However…they could use some truer PG looks…

Still adjusting to the Bucks new reality. Had to stop myself from mentioning Jevon Carter makes sense as a Bucks buyout signing given KPJ injury.

Carter is 30. Would rather pluck the top G League pg on a two way to try them and find a building block. #OwnTheFuture

One of the trades of all time. Cavs get to spin the magic wheel to determine whether Schroder is a nails role player or absolute vibes assassin for their team like all teams acquiring him do.
The Sacramento Kings are trading Keon Ellis and Dennis Schroder to the Cleveland Cavaliers, De’Andre Hunter goes to the Kings, Dario Saric and two second-round picks go to the Chicago Bulls in a 3-team trade, sources confirm.

Trade framework was first reported below this morning 😉
Sources: The Cavaliers and Kings have discussed a framework that would send De’Andre Hunter to Sacramento for Keon Ellis, Dennis Schroder, and Dario Saric.

Jae Crowder saw some news on Giannis Antetokounmpo and decided to send out a tweet about the moment that started the “avalanche.”

“He lost me. Right there. He lost me. I didn’t voice it to my teammates, but internally, and to my bone, to my core, he lost me.”

It’s insane that there’s basically no talk from major NBA media about how bad of a job Doc Rivers is doing. Absurd.

Yes the roster is flawed but Rivers has failed to institute a cohesive offense or defense and the rotations have been nonsensical. Worst coached team every night.

The Bucks aren’t built to withstand a *checks notes* Pete Nance slump?

That one-handed Nance pass to Green cutting !!!!

Adding an extra B2B plus 4 in 5 nights is huge news for the tank

Giannis is financially incentivized to be traded sooner.

His max extension exceeds extend & trade rules, so either being traded or extending his contract puts a hold on the other thing for 6 months.

Could still extend in October if traded in Feb, couldn’t if in offseason.
January 29, 2026 at 12:19 PM
I think the two determinants for whether Giannis is traded by deadline are:

Can one of the existing motivated teams manage to loop in a third team to increase their offer? Ie Heat getting picks for Wiggins and sending those too

Does another team with more stuff jump in?

Ranking the four Giannis suitors Shams named:

4) Knicks - no real prospects, no firsts, not interested in KAT

3) Timberwolves - Beringer/Shannon/Dillingham are something but no firsts

2) Warriors - 4 firsts & 3 swaps, but no real prospects

1) Heat - Ware, Jakucionis, Jaquez, 2 firsts and 3 swaps

Shams expounds on the “aggressive” offers the Bucks have fielded for Giannis: “all-star caliber players and multiple draft picks”
