One of my favourite #HarryClarke St #Brigids. Although apparently he did only design and not execute this one, albeit I think it certainly looks distinctively Clarke-ish! In St Michael and St John’s Church in Cloughjordan, Co Tipperary.

Fun fact: You could probably take a side trip to Norham if you walked #StCuthbertsWay with #HillwalkTours @hillwalktours.bsky.social
Jan 15: Feast of Ceolwulf (†764), king of the Northumbrians. Ruler to whom Bede presented his completed Ecclesiastical History. Abdicated in 737 after a turbulent reign. Became Lindisfarne monk. Buried near Cuthbert. Norham-on-Tweed later held relics, Durham his head. 📸xlibber #medievalsky

The algorithms are making it a lot harder to spread the word about these online talks. Although numbers are still reasonable, it would be a great help if folk were able to give the 30 December event a quick share 🙂

Where is the era-appropriate movie version of the Waitresses' " #Christmas Wrapping"? #ChristmasMovies I'd watch that romcom.

Will figurehead carving classes include enchantments and how to make the figureheads into homes for magical guardian spirits?
Fancy a career change and saving a critically endangered craft or heritage skill from extinction? Have a look at these. I'm currently undecided, but glass eye making and clay pipe making are top of my list! 👁️

Please check on your disabled friends and neighbours in the path of the tsunami.

Many can’t evacuate without help.

Many are critically dependent on electricity to power wheelchairs, breathing equipment & more.

They can’t flee easily and don’t deserve to be left behind.
