From caring that much about George. She hasn't moved on from Ambridge yet, but I think she will. I doubt she'll come back when she finishes her degree except for the occasional visit, mainly to see Poppy. #TheArchers

The filler dialogue may have been an attempt to get the whole Omnibus cut into one episode. It must be difficult, writing so that stuff can be cut out without losing any vital plot or character development. #TheArchers

I enjoyed Thursday's episode. I thought the juxtaposition of George's experience (with the red herrings of something going wrong at the last minute) & his family's anticipation worked very well.
Friday I found a bit dull. I suspect the redwings won't make it into the Omnibus. #TheArchers

The source of her funds is somewhat mysterious (see also Joy 🙂). I think we are supposed to think she's doing well from the influencing. And she is probably getting an allowance from parents, even now. She can't have many regular outgoings; I doubt she's paying any rent. #TheArchers

We are, but I can't see any reason to disbelieve her.
I'm struggling to think of any instance where she has deliberately lied. In some cases, what she says is how she perceives things rather than objective truth, but that's different. #TheArchers

The Amber we currently see isn't authentic, that's the point. She's playing a role, with the aim of being more cool & popular. We've yet to see the real Amber. As Goldi says, when she drops the mask, the squeal will probably go. #TheArchers

It's a shame as she's been very good, but she would've been daft not to take it. #TheArchers

Sorry, I wasn't clear. I know it's 4 weeks (Keri Davies said). What I'm not confident about is the exact dates. For example, I think the week ending 26 Sept was week 4 in one block & the week ending 3 Oct was week 1 in the next, but I'm not sure. I wondered if Leo had worked it out. #TheArchers

I think it's unlikely she left mid-block.
In the very rare previous instances of an actor leaving suddenly, there's been an emergency rewrite to remove them from the next block. It looks like, in this case, for whatever reason that wasn't an option. #TheArchers

I suspect Olivia Bernstone being in Haywire is significant. It looks like they needed someone at short notice & it would be easy & sensible to audition someone who's currently working with one of the SWs. #TheArchers
