My partner has a USAmerican coworker who sent her home with Thanksgiving dinner yesterday. We had stuffed cannelloni, mashed potatoes, garlic bread, and pumpkin tarts.

But my partner said no to the sweet potato casserole and I do not know how to tell her how badly she messed by doing that.

This (US) Thanksgiving, I'm thankful for the opportunity to teach, learn, and share awesome and devastating stories and memories of Indigenous Peoples in my introductory Indigenous Studies (international perspectives) course, the last lecture meeting of which was this morning.

10 cm of snow doesn't sound like too much?? but man does this Canadian city completely collapse when it happens, especially early in winter!
First massive snowstorm of the winter struck last night and into this morning.
Of course I have a 2.5 hour 8:30 am class on Mondays and I've already cancelled one meeting this term so I couldn't really cancel today.

Just logged into Zoom for the first time in a while and their new AI tool thing doesn't have a quirky name?? It's just "AI Companion"? That's somehow worse, as it comes off to me as lazy? Couldn't think of a nice zoomy pun?

My mom came across my middle school social studies teacher, who was my favourite teacher, and one of the few I didn't clash with. I think I last saw her in 2007? I had been meaning to reconnect with her for so long to update her on my career and my mom did that for me and im not crying ur crying

I think I've asked this before, but if so, the answer may have changed since then:
Is there a browser extension that detects whether a publisher has both epub and PDF versions of a book/document, and automatically switches the view to PDF.

Uhh I think the publisher removed one of my course textbooks from online access through our library? In the middle of the semester??

I've requested help from a librarian to see if it is on our end.

Can anyone open: www.taylorfrancis.com/books/edit/1...
or any of its chapters?
