Right now the world feels like one relentless assault against all that is good and holy, and the arts are getting massively fucked left and right. Slagging people off because you don't enjoy their work seems like a cheap thrill.

It's obviously valid to be disappointed by things, but I don't know man, I'd much rather know what albums people were surprised to learn they loved. I might learn something. I might stream something. I might support a musician.

What albums does everyone regret buying? Loads for me, but the one that really sticks in my mind is K by Kula Shaker, which I forced myself to listen to joylessly several times in the desperate attempt to convince myself I hadn’t wasted my money, and still get cringes of regret about 29 years later.
