Yes you’re right - they do at least have some features with non-white artists. it’s just their cover focus is racist - and frankly stupid - I’m sure people get bored with Beatles / Springsteen / Dylan etc covers

Just thinking about this, I recently asked some Mojo hack on Twitter (he’s on here too) why ALL the covers and most of the articles were white. He had a strop and blocked me. But if an established music journal doesn’t get the importance of non-whites in music culture I wash my hands of them

There must be a debate to be had here but it’s not one I feel part of. A flag should represent the country as a whole and with the current Faragian theft it doesn’t - it’s just a ‘flyer’ for Reform.

I admit I don’t even know what patriotism is because I prefer individual to collective pride.

I saw Boz Scaggs at the Jazz Cafe when But Beautiful came out. Tiny audience, amazing gig.

Boz is 81 now, voice aged, but still with the warmth and soul he has had through all his albums. They are like letters from an old friend.
