I’m fascinated by Katseye. These girls are so talented but their management is consistently having them release songs music that are mid at best and unlistenable at worst. I think Hybe is trying to prime audiences for AI-written music, it’s that bad.

I’m once again irritated by the way people hang on to this ridiculous idea of death as absolution for people who weren’t especially decent or kind in life….. sick of it. All I can hear in my head is Livia Soprano harping on about “your father was a saint!”

I never really bothered with styling my hair much until this year. Which is a double edged sword because while my hair does look better now, since I’ve started to care, it’s hard for me to stop. Which is annoying because it’s now just one more thing I feel I have to do to get ready. Smh

For the first time in my adult life, I have completed all my Christmas shopping by early December. It’s hard not to feel smug as I walk through town calmly while everyone else is in a sheer panic. This has never happened to me before so I feel like I deserve to brag about it.

The rise of Zara Larsson this past year has been fascinating. Outside mainland Europe where she’s been huge for years, people were always vaguely aware of her, despite hit after hit. But so many people (myself included) didn’t really start paying attention until she found her style and identity.

Mary Wallopers gig kinda healed something in me last night. In this cursed climate it was extremely refreshing to hear a popular Irish act condemn Irish racists for the idiots that they are, and to hear the entire packed venue cheer and shout in agreement.

I chuckled given the headline and the countries involved but as someone in Scotland have had so many unknown numbers (sometimes the location comes up too and it’s always England) call me in the past few weeks to a degree that is absolutely ridiculous. I never pick up.
