The owner of Leith Diggers was telling that for some reason the cost of getting sport channels was a lot more in Leith than it was in Gorgie. Baffling. There is no doubt a good reason..not.

Just had nice chat with the owners of what will be Leith Diggers. They were outside painting the exterior. Spared their blushes by not taking their photo. Pub opens next week.

My favie Scottish suffragette was Irish. Mary Maloney dogged Winston Churchill's 1908 by-election campaign in Dundee. He refused to talk about the suffrage so she said he wouldn't talk about anything then & followed him around ringing a bell to drown out his voice. Slan, Mary. /6
