I actually found this exchange pretty fascinating, and with a better communicator than Vivek, those kids might have walked away thinking about a few things outside of their dogma.

What those kids need is a Buttigieg type that is skilled at dealing with and breaking through to brainwashed folks.

ICE spent $800K on vans with stingray tech that collects data from all nearby phones, even yours. These devices mimic cell towers to track locations and intercept communications. Oversight and transparency are needed now.

There are differences in Grand Juries. The burden of proof for a grand jury is probable cause, which is a lower standard than the "beyond a reasonable doubt.” And it’s only from the prosecutions point of view. No judge, no defense, just prosecution and their explanations of evidence.

This. Also, it’s a lower bar. The burden of proof for a grand jury is probable cause, which is a lower standard than the "beyond a reasonable doubt" standard required at trial. Most legit prosecutors won’t do it because they are aiming for the next step, not the probable cause.
