Just this guy, you know?

transliteration issues are a Hell of a drug.
If that late reporting was actually turning into late fees I'd riot.
I can no longer just "pay my rent", I need to log into a third party "community" rewards hub that will let me spend the points I earn for perks on the opposite side of the country. And they're late telling my landlord's systems that I actually paid it so I get a warning every month (no extra fees).
pretty much, yeah. It requires confidence that your small lead will stay together.
I saw it pointed out earlier today that gerrymandering is about holding onto power as more and more people dislike what you're doing, and when that eventually breaks it's like a dam bursting.
I bang this drum every time I vote in Oregon. Full mail-in. They email me when my ballot is sent out, they email me when it's received, they do all sorts of stuff to make it easy to vote AND get ballots to people who don't have permanent addresses.
We had one on the ballot here that said "this will raise property taxes more than 3%" in addition to the usual "$X per 1000 of assessed value" which I guess is a threshold they declare.
Aside from generational design memes ("the brown era" etc) every bit of design tech also has that improvement point where you can think "we're ready, let's go for it" and it falls short. Going from sprites to early polygons was *rough* for a lot of attempts.
I grew up on the side of an old volcano. Any digging deeper than three inches included a crowbar to try and break up the tuff (basically ash sandstone, if you don't mind annoying geologists).
"Wait, A isn't X? Dang I had it all wrong talking about their attempts to do that thing last night."
"Dude, A hates doing stuff like that."
"I know, that's why I was trying to be really encouraging."
Pfft. Reading viewer comments and using that to fully plot, write, draw and ink a comic before it goes up tomorrow is easy. Just do it in the ten minutes dinner is cooking.
After having that problem on Hades 1 I deliberately tried to hold back and still barely made it through the 1.0 ending before burning out.
I have two friends on Discord who I can tell apart when they're both talking but things blur when it's just one. Unfortunately I seem to have also developed an inability to remember which screen name goes with which person, they have nothing to do with real names for a reference to hang onto.
I have had Fleem as an imp racer stuck in my head for weeks, finally sketched it to get it out of there so you need to be exposed as well.
"Clearly the problem with this economy is people allowing a single bit of joy into their lives instead of sticking to bulk rice and beans for sustenance."
Adults are scared because it has replaced the funny number meme we've been using for so long.

The only downside I've found is that they don't burn out on/off, they get dimmer. So by the time I change them I've lost a lot of light quality without realizing it.
Do you know whether you get seasick? This is important.
I'm not built for viral videos.
"Wait for the end!" Learn to edit better!
"<celebrity> said WHAT?!" This could have been an email.
I grew up at a national laboratory and folks there said presenting to schools was good practice for presenting to Senators. Both had people who wanted to be seen as understanding more than they actually did and would throw tantrums if you dismissed that.
Once. Bank was right across the street and the clerk wouldn't let me pay cash instead. I just wanted to get it taken care of before dealing with whatever headache, they were worried I'd ignore it (???).

Bank said "we see nothing, it was a hiccup on their end" and card ran fine when I went back.
Lying there trying to decide if staying in bed not sleeping will feel worse than getting up.
Mine would wait for me to pat my lap to show that it's actually solid and not a trap. He jumped between my knees onto a blanket with no support once, never trusted it again.
Yeah, this is weird stuff to push a guy on and a sign they have nothing better. My dad's side of the family is pretty straightforward but my mom's is full of people like Cousin Steve, who is Mom's cousin but everyone else started calling him Cousin Steve so it's just his name now.
Look, if we rename the yad to a putz then MAYBE I'll start considering whether gender has anything to do with Rabbinic ability...
