When talking to people do you ever feel like they... skip steps? Like instead of saying "yes that's a problem, we need to do a warranty return, I need this info from you" they say "I'm sorry to hear that's happening, to help further I need this info" and it always feels like I'm playing catch-up.

It's frustrating that for a social multi-community mixer focused on supporting each other the event info feels it necessary to include "security provided" but that's 2025 for you.

The downside of being online friends with people for 25 years is that you'll get halfway through a rant about Korean incels and realize their teenage daughter has just joined the chat and you have no idea whether you need to pivot or how to do so.

I use my TV as a sometimes-on second monitor and I have some odd behavior. Sometimes a program will show up on that screen when it's off, but something about the communication process when I turn the TV on bumps the program to the main screen.

There was a Class Action against Facebook that started seven years ago, I just got my check. I'd rather they, you know, hadn't sold my personal information, but 30 bucks is 30 bucks.

Graphics presets need Max, Min, and "we turned off all the flashy GPU-intensive stuff you only notice in screenshots or if looking for it but the game won't look like ass with single-pixel textures."

The entire gameplay arc of Silksong is saying "what is this BS" and then figuring out how to deal with the BS, so I think it's a bit unfair to ruthlessly mock people who are posting while they're still on step 1.
Honestly that's my issue with the community of games like this in general.

I understand having a dark sense of humor, I do as well a lot of the time. But if you are safely outside of the blast radius don't lead into a phone conversation with "so how are you doing over there, ready for the big shitstorm to bury you in shit ha ha ha?"

Find a new streamer, everything seems fun and chill, you're grooving, and then it turns out they have a sub alert that's 2 minutes of noise overload looping on itself until the sensation is physically painful.
