For fuck sake #NewZealand you've rejected the science and message on climate change multiple times because the business bro's bullshit simple fossil fuel funded rhetoric sounds easy

Its not getting easier, it wont improve

What can you do if the weather forecast terrifies you?
Explainer - We’ve already had more weather emergencies in 2026 than all of last year. How do you cope with weather stress and anxiety?

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again - Eden Park is a rubbish location for Rugby League. I’d rather fly to Brisbane.

There's been this hit job on the Green Party by ACT's NZCPR, claiming money was "stolen" from water infrastructure for cycleways.

In fact, their Council invested significantly, more than others over decades.

They put $2.7 billion to 3W in 2021 and 1.8% of that on cycleways #nzpol

It’s been a little rainy this week, and cloudy, yet I’ve added 30 miles of range using exclusively excess solar production.

Seeing Jordan Williams shit on it made me laugh. Great work National! Even the TPU hate it!
Watts is an idiot of the first order and a symptom of anti intellectualism rife in National
But when both the Taxpayers Union AND Greens absolutely diss the Government on the LNG Corruption Show, you know National fucked up mega

National's LNG blunders are a warning ahead of election campaign
Ministers seemed unprepared for criticism over LNG and then unable to salvage the narrative once the severity of the situation became apparent.

📢 Residential property investors increased their mortgage pile by over $7 bln in 2025 and are taking up mortgage money at a proportionately faster rate than owner-occupiers
Residential property investors top $100 bln mortgage mark in what was a surprisingly busy year for them

NZ has fallen into a 'crisis and response' pattern on climate disaster, experts say. Billions have been spent on storm recovery since 2023, while key climate adaptation funding and planning tools have been cut.

Every time I watch a Chloe Swarbrick interview (and Mihi Forbes has some great examples) I think ‘how can people watch this and still think she is an extremist?’. Imagine where arguing for a middle ground for alcohol regulation is considered ‘extreme’?

Appreciate just how big the contribution of renewable was in SA on Tuesday when it was tucking hot
Demand was 4,235 MW
Renewables generated 3,956 MW of that
Rooftop solar reduced residential demand by 58%
50% of houses in SA have solar
Suck on that Canavan #auspol

South Australia set stunning new native demand record on Tuesday amid heatwave, but nearly all of it was met by wind and solar.
