One of the cool things about the early computer times is how we could create things without being forced to compare our work to every other person on the planet.

I also am confused by this. Bsky has some of the best community moderation and blocking tools on any social network. Moderation here isn’t dependent on Bluesky™️ doing anything. People can just enable a blocklist of shitbirds and then they’re done.
