English is way harsher on repetition than Japanese, so part of a light novel translator's job is tweaking the wording so it says the same shit, but without sounding redundant.

Meanwhile in my descent to casual game hell, I have found a second merge game that is prison break themed (different publisher but shares assets with the Chinese horror game, so likely the same devs) which is trying to be all american which is why you regularly have to clear stacks of mahjong tiles

Google gave me a great article on the other ways to get into Japanese colleges and I thought I was done referencing it and closed it and a page later needed it again and the same search no longer returned that result fucking just be consistent motherfuckers
