English is way harsher on repetition than Japanese, so part of a light novel translator's job is tweaking the wording so it says the same shit, but without sounding redundant.
I thought I'd do a rundown of a few tricks that help with this.

Mugen Gacha 2
Heard this had a major tone shift and suddenly it's a way better kind of trash. Nazuna alone saving it. Very obvious debt to Overlord though.
Also bolstered by the best translation this season, Sasuga Nazuna->You slay, queen was my favorite.

I recommend the standalone desktop app that they abandoned years ago in favor of making you read things in a browser, which is madness.
Last I checked you could still download and it works. I mean, it's still bad, it's just less likely to accidentally get closed.

Sometimes you'll read a series and pick up on shit halfway, like you've sketched a line between these dots or idly wondered why that makes no sense and then it'll make it a plot point and you're like, ah ha, I almost would've known if I'd been weirder about this

This series has never pulled punches but this is, for my money, the most brutal volume yet.

Somehow there were no new anime and no new episodes of the things I'm giving second chances to so I was forced to go back and try the original Kakuriyo which was deeply unpleasant in a way the romance written by women for women who have awful taste in men are, why did this get a season two

I'm a light novel translator with over a hundred novels under my belt, and a decent number of manga. If you're an anime fan at all you've probably seen something I've worked on, and should really read the source instead, they're always better.
