Absolutely.
DJT is just a symptom.
MAGA and the GOP are just 'useful idiots'.
Look to those who cultivate an atmosphere of hate, who shred consensus and the rule of law.
Who prospers when chaos reigns?
Privatized prisons and armies. Manufacturers and merchants of arms.
We need to recognize this isn’t a Trump issue only, this is every Republican in Congress allowing this. It’s not a Donald Trump problem, it’s the Republican Party!

All TOO real.
Except that it purports to be set in DJT's 3rd term.
But after one year of his second term we are well on our way there already.

How Alex Garland's Civil War offers a warning about the US political divide
The action film imagining a near future in which the US has descended into chaos is the year's most controversial film so far – and the polarised response is just as interesting.

Poverty is a policy choice. Concentrated wealth is a policy choice. Inequality is a policy choice. None of it is natural or inevitable. Remember: We have the power to build a system that serves the many, not the powerful few.

As Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis stated in 1933; “We can have democracy in this country or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of the few, but we cannot have both.”

Today, at a time of unprecedented income & wealth inequality, his words ring truer than ever.

Premier Smith keeps talking about a ‘bitumen pipeline,’ but the facts don't add up. Sending dilbit through a pipeline puts communities and waterways at serious risk. We need leaders who protect people and the environment, not ones who downplay the dangers.

Them as has the gold makes the rules.
Remember: There is nothing natural or inevitable about extreme inequality; it’s the result of an economic system that values wealth and power over human dignity and justice.

It doesn't have to be this way.

What can be done if the will is there.
In Germany the only source of electricity that keeps growing and growing: renewable energy.

Solar and wind keep expanding and even though nuclear is no more coal generation has already shrunk significantly and keeps falling.
