The PC is up and running again!! Test stream tomorrow to see how it hands OBS and VTubing, and if it seems stable enough I'll begin work on commissions! If all goes well, then Sunday I'll be resuming the Hourly Sketch Commissions!! WAHOO

So this is usually when I'd make a schedule for the week! But since the past two schedules went to waste because of PC problems, I'm going to hold off until I have a working PC again. I will say I am hoping to be up and going again by the weekend... again. So here's hoping!

Hhhhh. The new GPU arrived and it's too big for the case. The one I'm looking at ordering could be here by Thursday, but I'm not sure if I can have everything up and running by Friday like I'd hoped.

Some extremely kind individuals have helped support me to get new PC parts to resume work, and I am still overwhelmed by this. The new card should be here tomorrow, and I am aiming to be up and running again by Friday to work on some new commissions!!

Plan for the week! Focusing on maintenance, the Primal Bun print, and Hourly Sketch Commissions this time. Model edits I might still do during my free time, but I want to try and get the print done sooner rather than later.

if you're an artist taking comms online, PLEASE be exporting your paypal/vgen/stripe summary at the end of the year and claiming those fees as a deductible. i have somethin like $900usd of fees to report every year

a vgen commission quoted at $1200 USD.
the vgen service fee (5%) takes $60 USD.
stripe's payment processing fee (2.6% + 30c) takes $35.10 USD
stripe's international payout fee (2%) takes $24 USD.
leaving the artist to receive $1080 from the original $1200.

if you take any kind of income from paypal (comms, kofi, stream tips etc):

Activity > All Reports > Activity > Activity Report:
generate a balance affecting CSV report of the current tax year

then take the sum of the fees column, being sure to separate and convert different currencies.
