After therapy today, I went to Goodwill and did some Christmas shopping. 🛍️ I only have 2 people left to buy for. I'm testing the electronics and checking the games. One thing doesn't work (kitchen scale) and one is still charging (travel blender).

Today, at my appointment, I got psychiatrist lore. Usually, the most I get is spouse and kid lore, but today, I got childhood and early adulthood lore.

When you've run out of toilet paper and resorted to using napkins, paper towels, or face tissues, it's so satisfying to have toilet paper again. Thank you & merry Christmas to the lady at Kroger who bought it for me.

I’m thankful I made it home from dinner in time to see my two young neighbors planting a pine cone in hopes their Christmas tree will grow overnight.

Happy Day of Thanks. I'm grateful for the food pantry that provided some of the food, food stamps, and family. I ate until I was full repeatedly.

The Bible is full of incest, polygamy, and favoritism, yet church leaders preach against them, saying God doesn't like them. It's okay to just say why you don't like them without God being brought into it.

Our smallest cat, a dwarf, was broken early by people who didn't want her then dumped. It's been a blessing to see her blossom here with us. She's learning that she's loved and that we won't hurt her. She still doesn't like being held, but she likes kisses.

I was just told (again) to shave my armpits. I said I'm not going to. I have eczema and scar tissue in my armpit. I got a lecture about how I need to shave them or hide them. I get hot too easily. I don't care who sees my armpit hair. I wear sleeveless.

I spent the evening baking cookies. The cats appreciated the warm kitchen and the people enjoyed the cookies. It's nice to occasionally be able to have cookies fresh out the oven, warm and gooey. It's not something we often have. We go months between having cookies.

When I got up today, with the house still dark, I walked through the living room and felt something wet on my sock. A cat had vomited on the carpet and I had put the middle of my foot in the middle of the pile.
