Looking back to not even a year ago, it feels unreal how much personal growth I've had this year in so many different ways.
I've never had as much comfort in myself as I have right now, and for once I actually feel proud of the progress I've been making.

When this happens to me (happened like 3 times in total) restarting the Quest Pro fixes it.
Then I can just reconnect to VD without restarting anything on my PC

Yeah that's the downside, they're extended fully even when a bit bent IRL but I rather have that than them doing the snapping.
But if your problem is the opposite of mine (if you prefer them being bent when idle) then idk 🙁
I always lock both, both when using a chest tracker and without it

I bend my knees a tiny bit when calibrating, makes me float a little when my legs are fully extended but it makes the legs stop snapping when just standing around
