part of why I keep harping on "transition doomerism is literally just body image issues going unchecked using dysphoria as an excuse to deflect from all concerns" is that I keep seeing transition doomer girls post selfies and looking like extremely normal women. Just incredibly normal-looking.

I think most trans people will love - or at least appreciate - the dolls in my novel of various races, backgrounds, interests, hobbies and struggles.

They'll hate the main character for being the annoying white grindset bro [she] is, but also have to reckon with how often [she] is correct about us.

The line between "insurance covers GAC" and "too broke to not DIY" is so thin, easy to go under and very hard to go over. It wasn't the only thing that radicalized me but understanding this vast difference scared me enough to give a shit about trans women I would otherwise have cultural beef with.

I really do think that Ari post is gonna make me start a blog TODAY.

One of the things that's bothered me most about trans(feminine) progress is that, even though I was raised in a comfortable middle class home, it wasn't hard for me to see the degree of transfem ostracization early on.
