I guess my closing thoughts on Flower of the Underworld;
Being set in the world of Gunmental Olympus, where the lenses are turned to the divine and the grandiose, while tangled up within it its beautiful how mundane and mortal the story is, I think that's part of why it caught me so ->

as I said, puberty blockers were always a bad compromise, trans kids deserve HRT and the cis will never be happy either way so compromising with them on a solution that is bad for trans kids was always gonna backfire
And let's not even get started on the absurdity of looking for a positive impact from a preventative measure, where the expected outcome is "not getting worse"

i would love to know what "risks" people are citing when they say that hrt is "unsafe" without medical supervision. do you consult your doctor when you take advil or tylenol?
