Went through this in the 90s, when seeing yourself as a girl was considered an extreme form of homosexuality

To them, at 7yo, I was "prehomosexual", they thought torture and misogyny would "correct" me

they told me that I was lucky, born better than a girl and it was wrong to want to be like one
