The only people whose opinion matters on this peace deal are the people of Gaza, many of whom are cautiously optimistic. It is hard to be genuinely hopeful as a Palestinian, but I pray that the ceasefire holds and that Israel does not renege on the agreement.

I really hope the ceasefire sticks and my friends can begin rebuilding their lives, and their children’s lives.

I will continue sharing their campaigns because yinz know best case scenario this process will take ages and in the meantime babies still need milk and diapers.

honestly fu** you if you think gazans are only allowed to ask for help to cover their very basic necessities when they’re starving or being killed, calling a gazan a grifter for trying to secure her education proves that you don’t see gazans as humans who deserve to live equally.

Restorative justice means we humanity do everything until our Palestinian siblings live with the same rights, autonomy and dignity that we do, until every home and temple is rebuilt, until each martyr is honoured, until the land grows green again.
