Almost half the funding comes from huge tech companies. A bit more comes from private credit - mostly non-public companies. They use private credit because this was too risky for the big bank.

It's VERY hard to see any rational need to bail out MSFT and subprime credit.

The weak link is data center economics. That's where the real vendor financing is going on. They buy NVDA GPUs that depreciate completely in 3 years for data centers that aren't built yet, lease those back to NVDA, then use that leaseback contract to buy more GPUs. Wonder how leveraged they are?

Data centers lease the GPUs they've bought to NVidia, then use that leaseback contract as collateral (on a depreciating asset?!?) to borrow money to buy more GPUs. Wonder exactly how leveraged they are.
