I am 26 and I have been warning people that Australians as well as mob have no bill of rights. For 14 years I have been told to shut the fuck up, it doesn't matter, we live in a democracy.
Today both major parties just leapt into full fascism by making laws against any standards of human rights.

I watched "Sorry, Baby" by Eva Victor last night. I only cried 3 times. The humor contrasting the dark reality of the abuse of power dynamics, rape, and the struggles in which the marriage of the two produces was not only moving, but a reminder to raise better men.

North Carolina vehemently protesting ICE then divesting from Israel is honestly a surprise. Maybe I'm just not educated on the state, but definitely exceeding my expectations and setting a precedent.

@zohrankmamdani.bsky.social said this in 2022 and just endorsed Hakeem Jeffries, suggesting that now wasn't the time to oppose him or prop up another demsoc. Is this the type of hypocrisy we can expect from Mayor Zohran throughout his political career?

No bailouts. The US should extort these companies when the crash happens so they get minimal compensation in return for nationalizing the entire panopticon industry and then destroying it once harvested for socially useful parts. It won’t happen but it should
when its definitely not a hostage situation

She reported him missing to Houston police. But instead of reuniting them, the city turned him over to ICE.

“They’re failing all of us,” his mom said.

Still trying to wrap my head around the concept of nurses being essential during a pandemic just 5 years ago. Regarded internationally as heroes, even. And now the US govt is redefining their jobs as unprofessional. The government isn't willining to aid in the creation of Healthcare professionals.
