This is what it comes down to in terms of how we actually function in society: not “what is a woman?”, but “how do you know I’m a woman?” Nobody has ever asked to inspect my gametes or chromosomes. Presentation is literally all anyone is going on.
I mean I’m a fairly femme cis woman but I don’t carry any ID on me that shows my gender. How could I *prove* I am a woman, if I had to, in a way that isn’t just “well she looks like a girl, fair enough”?

Fiance and I are flying out to Indianapolis tomorrow and I realized it's been 6 months since we've been on a plane together, and over a year since we've flown from our home airport??? (We flew to MN for thanksgiving from Boston) That's so crazy for us lol

If it was done in defiance of a judges order the technical term for that is "illegal" which means it's not an arrest and deportation - which require those conducting it to at least presume they are acting within the law - but a kidnapping and human trafficking
