I’ve been Co-Chair alongside Luanne for the last 12 months and I’m incredibly happy to have her support.

And as Young Green Co-Chair it wouldnt be right not to mention Zack’s commitment to young activists and bringing people into our movement.

It’s so crucial we have a leader who will continue to fight for the future of our movement. That leader is Zack.

(5/6)
Working on GPEx this year Zack has been a brilliant voice. on difficult discussions Zack has put forward progressive positions & gotten people onboard.

I’m confident Zack as leader will continue progressing on staff pay, Young Green funding and internal reforms that are desperately needed.

I come from a town in County Durham that just voted for Reform. I’ve also researched the far-right and how they communicate.

It’s crucial we have someone leading who can translate Green policy into tangible and meaningful solutions to everyday issues. A good argument is never enough.

(3/6)
We know that for 2026 and beyond our fight is going to be with Labour and Reform.

Zack has been working tirelessly on the London Assembly holding Labour accountable on climate, renting and transport.

He also knows what it takes to beat Reform.

(2/6)
I’m proud to say that I’m backing Zack for leader of the Green Party.

He has the bold vision, the energy and the experience to take the Green Party forward.

Zack has consistently backed young activists and is already working hard to bring people into our movement for change.

Starmer is pandering to the far-right and their extremely dangerous anti-immigration rhetoric.

I can promise you you have more in common with people choosing to call Britain home or those who find refuge here than those pushing exclusion and hate.
Over 25,000 people voted for a Young Green candidate today.

14 Young Greens were elected bringing our total to 57 Young Green Councillors.

That’s 57 local champions bringing new perspectives to councils across the country.

The work to keep this going in 2026 starts now 🌱

"This is our chance to send the Government a clear message that we deserve better."

Young Greens lay out just some of the reasons you should vote Green on 1 May.
Today myself & Lu have written to Co-Leader @adrianramsay.bsky.social as Young Green Co-Chairs about his lack of response to yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling.

It is crucial we show solidarity with the trans community, to show our opposition, as a united front, to increased oppression and fear.
No state should be allowed to commit ethnic cleansing and genocide.

The fact this even has to be said is a horrific reflection of where we are.
BREAKING: Israel’s military operation in the Gaza Strip is expanding to seize "large areas that will be added to the security zones of the State of Israel," Defense Minister Israel Katz said.

Reeves’ cuts to welfare are unnecessary and cruel. It’s time for Labour to get serious, tax the rich and start delivering the change they promised.

I will be able to serve my residents better in a party that holds these same values & doesn’t sanction me for speaking up when it matters."

We must fix this if we want to fight the far-right and keep getting Greens elected.

The next leadership election is a great opportunity to make change. Until then get organised, start sharing best practice and work to build the skills we so desperately need.
The Green Party should be proud of their breakthrough at the last election.

But their failure to pick political fights since then has left Nigel Farage capitalising on Labour’s implosion.

They need to get their act together!

If the status quo is not working to stop the resurgence of reactionary politics, it might not be because of individual failures but because of systemic ones

We can keep making the same mistakes for the same results or we can start broadening our horizons even if change seems scary
The announcement of a ceasefire comes far too late for far too many.

We must work for a sustainable peace in which there is a free Palestine, an end to occupation & justice brought to those responsible.

The UK must also end its complicity in genocide, end arms sales & allow aid to flow to Gaza.
