I was just wondering this. genuinely couldn’t care less about tanking. you need to tank to get better opportunities in the long run. the Knicks did it for years and finally “won” by getting 3rd overall in the Zion draft. and even with that bad luck, they ended up with the better of him/Ja/RJ.
Here’s what I don’t understand about the renewed outrage about tanking: who is actually upset who is the league trying to appease?
Because it doesn’t seem like it’s fans of the tanking teams that are upset. Tanking is something that fans can appreciate and support because it gives you hope.

as is my issue with any athlete participating in advertising sports betting, it’s the advertising aspect that should be concerning to Silver, not the investment itself.
