When I was maybe 20, in the days when “buy vs rent” was a real question, I asked a friend who owned a house if he was glad he did, and after a long thoughtful silence he said “If you’re not lazy, it’s the best thing you can do, but you’ll have a project every weekend for the rest of your life.”

Nobody says you gotta LIKE sex or porn or kink, but I'm really sick of the normalization of a hatred of sex, a feeling that sex is abnormal or disgusting or inherently prurient.

#MathsToday I have a couple of questions. Does anyone know a calculation I can type into a fake calculator to prove to a student it is giving wrong answers? Secondly, has anyone changed how they teach trig now we know they get a formula sheet, to use a, b, c rather than h, a, o to match the sheet?
