Julie K. Brown: In July 2006, just as Jeffrey Epstein's criminal sex charge became public, Trump called then-Palm Beach police chief Michael Reiter to tell him that Epstein's activities with teenaged girls were well known in both New York and Palm Beach.
Trump told Palm Beach police chief ‘everyone’ knew about Epstein, Maxwell was ‘evil’
The new information comes as Ghislaine Maxwell was summoned to appear Monday before a Congressional committee.

You are losing big time when the UK is being considered the moral paragon of a ruling class.
U.K. might lose a prime minister because a guy who worked for him knew another guy who hung out with Epstein. Meanwhile the U.S. opposition party is telling our President, who was Epstein's best friend, that his secret police should get better training so their public street murders look less messy.

💯
I want to know what Jamie is hiding that he knows given how he bends over backwards to defend certain people implicated in this scandal.
Jamie Raskin said he reviewed an email sent from Epstein to co-conspirator Ghislaine Maxwell that was a forwarded conversation between Epstein’s lawyers and lawyers for Donald Trump.

The DOJ (illegally) redacted Trump's name in the public files.
What else are they hiding?

So @aoc.bsky.social are you ready to file an article of impeachment against the president overseeing concentration camps springing up across the United States? How about forcing a vote on the articles filed against Noem? Anything???

i think this more than anything is what miller wants. vast detention camps with all of the suffering and death that means.
ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

It is so fucking insane how we let federal lawmakers give commentary like they are on a CNN panel rather than say what they are going to do.

Seems like torture...
"As of Monday, Kordia has been detained for more than 325 days."
When Texas lawmakers tried to visit 33-year-old “political prisoner” Leqaa Kordia at an ICE facility, she’d already lost 50 pounds and was running a high fever.

By Friday, she was hospitalized. But her family still has not been able to locate her.

What impact are the US boat strikes having, besides killing >124 people?

- October-December 2024: 7,764 pounds of cocaine seized at the US-Mexico border.
- October-December 2025: 10,593 pounds of cocaine seized.

Cocaine is up 34% year-over-year *despite* the boat strikes.

"But what can Democrats do, they're out of power?"
I get that question a lot.
So I made this guide.
Because members of Congress have a lot of power, even in the minority - especially in the Senate.

Women known as the “Military Mapping Maidens” produced tens of thousands of topographic maps during World War II, while men fought overseas. Yet their work remained largely uncredited until recently, explains a specialist in geographic information systems.
Women have been mapping the world for centuries – and now they’re speaking up for the people left out of those maps
Women have moved from mapmakers using their bodies to depict maps to being leaders shaping the field of cartography.

I expected the cuts would be bad but I'm honestly stunned and sickened seeing how many great journalists the Washington Post just lost. People who nailed huge investigations, documented war zones, exposed horrific crimes, dropped all at once for failures they did not cause.
