Same! I don't know many people close that play, so being able to pay solo in a different way, or cooperative with my wife will be cool.
I'll probably just buy the first box instead of waiting to see what's next.

This was my problem with 13th Age. Combat was fun and very 4e-like, but outside of combat it was... Pretty boring.
For me, DH is kind of the perfect culmination of the last 10 years of fantasy games I have enjoyed.

Draw Steel looks interesting, but I feel like it would have the 13th Age problem.

My first tabletop wargame was probably either Federation & Empire, original Warhammer, Steve Jackson's OGRE, or original Battletech.

Other possibilities are Star Fleet Battles and Advanced Squad Leader.

I'm fairly new to reading Battletech, but I've got a lot of the same books. Also, Embers of War and A Bonfire of Worlds are two I really enjoyed that I don't see on your list.

I don’t plan to buy anymore books until I’m further caught up. I’m still very obsessed with this franchise so I will try to get through all of these when able. 😅😅

Wolves on the Border has been FANTASTIC so far! (Reading Chapter 10 now)

The Corps (Anthology), Legacy (Anthology), Wolves on the Border, Heir of the Dragon, Honor Code (Draconis Combine Anthology), the Gray Death Legion trilogy, Voidbreaker, the Warrior Trilogy, Ghost War, and Fox Tales.
