1980s #RalPartha original #Battletech "Grasshopper" mech in progress. Stripped old paint. Replaced tiny missing hands with salvaged fists. Repositioned right arm. Add antenna. Ral Partha vintage base. Stabbed pinning wire into my finger. It's still ugly. Maybe a good paint job can save it.

I just checked out the Xbox demo for Star Trek Voyager: Across the Unknown, & I loved it. It's the Star Trek game I've always wanted (well, almost, it's not ToS).
So fun, & the lack of voice acting & budget graphics don't bother me. The gameplay is great!
Can't wait for the release next month.

first battletech game went well, i lased my friend's cockpit down to 1 hp on a crazy headshot then blasted her backside open, punched her heatsink out, knocked her down then kicked her and she exploded 💥 :D friendship

I primed my first minis today! Going to go for a military green camo look for now cause we'll the paints I have are actually for my bolt action minis. But I'm definitely going to get some brighter primary colors later to add some flair to them later.

So, having multiple friends passionate about Battletech has proven to be a bit of an influence on recent purchases. Though in fairness it was also quite fun to play recently at PAX when a friend brought some of her collection in as an introduction.

Finally finished the mechs from the Aces box! The holidays really slowed this down, but I'm happy to have them finished before I finish the campaign.
