Americans continue to grapple with increased costs due to Trump’s reckless economic policies, especially during the holiday season. American companies paid $1.2 billion in tariffs on toys, $409 million in tariffs on Christmas decorations, and $773 million in tariffs on speakers and headphones.

1/ NATO can’t force the U.S. to send troops. Article 5 says each nation takes action as it deems necessary. That can mean sanctions, logistics, intel—not necessarily combat forces. Gabbard frames NATO as drafting American troops. That’s not how the treaty works.

The @ufw.bsky.social declared its first boycott 60 years ago this month. I remember Mom telling me we couldn't buy grapes because the people who picked them asked us not to. Proud my folks raised me #UnionStrong, in #solidarity with other workers regardless of race, color, or national origin.

If MiUSA means anything at all, it must mean good paying jobs for workers.

Netflix
Ford
Tesla
T-Mobile
Duke Energy
DISH Network
Metlife
Dominion Energy
United States Steel

In recent years, they all paid their execs more than they paid in taxes.

This is what a corporate-rigged system looks like.

How we beat back the corporate takeover of America:

1. Break up corporate monopolies

2. Continue building union power

3. End Citizens United and get big money out of politics

Let’s keep working to unrig the system.

“So here is what I believe, there are rights that majorities cannot touch. Freedom of speech, even speech that offends. Religious liberty, even for minority faiths. Equality before the law, even when inequality would be more efficient. Privacy, even when surveillance promises security”.
