Roadmap update for #picoCAD 2!

RIGHT NOW
I want to focus on the core features of picoCAD2 and make sure they are as good as I can get them. Modelling and texturing. This means disabling some of the newest features for now and returning to them once the core is good enough.

My stance is that there is no such thing as "pre-concept", it's just different stages of polished concept art.
My concepts looks like this, then I go straight to 3D.
The "concept art" that ends up in the art book that people are familiar with is usually made or polished after the game is finished.

our dungeon crawler gridder game THREE VERSES always had a fixed head-on camera, but the game is too beautiful to restrict to one angle.
so now there's camera tilt allowing you to look observe and explore way more of the environment

FATUM RACING CLUB

A race against time and fate in a digital vector world of early 2000s. This is a design concept inspired by the visuals of Wipeout, N, Darwinia and Colin McRae 2.0

Would you play a game like this?

Testing some gameplay for fun. Implemented Dynaman's stage from my old Megaman DOS project into my makeshift movement engine. I've stuck mostly to the NES's tile and palette restrictions, but I don't put limits on animations. For now I'm just messing around.

I had so much fun and learned a lot while making this. not only about dithering, but also about @threejs.org shaders.

as usual, animated with @animejs.com

enjoy!
